James Madison and the Constitution

James Madison and the Constitution are historically connected as it was recognized that he was the main contributor to this fabulous blueprint of checks and balances aimed at the protection of the inalienable rights, freedoms and property of the individual.

James Madison not only was instrumental in debate that was included in the Federalist and Anti-Federalist Papers but also proposed the first ten amendments to the Constitution that are today known as the Bill of Rights.

James Madison’s Contribution to the Constitution

“In 1789, as a member of the newly created U.S. House of Representatives, James Madison introduced the first amendments (additions) to the Constitution, which are now known as the Bill of Rights. Ratification of the Constitution by some states was based on the expectation that the Constitution would be changed by amendments such as these. Madison originally drafted 19 amendments, 12 of which his congressional colleagues passed on to the states for their approval. On December 15, 1791, 10 had been ratified by enough states to become part of the Constitution.

These amendments guarantee our individual rights as citizens, such as the freedom of speech, religion and the press (in the First Amendment). “ (SOURCE)

There is no question that the Republic of the United States of America became the most prosperous country in the world because of freedom and the right of the individual to retain and preserve the fruits of his labor, ingenuity and inventiveness.

Sadly, our representatives in government have not honored their oath to obey and protect the Constitution and the checks and balances that this great blueprint of representative government provides. Our inalienable rights, freedoms and property have been systematically eroded as most of our elected have been bought by the oligarchy of banks and their big corporate minions and no longer follow the will of the people as they are beholden to these special interest masters.

The answer to our current economic debacle is a return to the original Constitution and checks and balances that protect the inalienable rights as envisioned by James Madison and the other Founding Fathers.
End the ability of greed and lust for power of the special interest masters from placing us into perpetual debt slavery to their parasitic goals. They are the true terrorists that threaten the existence of freedom.
