GMO foods


GMO foods are defined as genetically modified foods, i.e. wheat, corn, soy, etc. The health effect of these foods on humans has not been established, but it is known that once eaten, the protein materials continue to reproduce inside our bodies for very long periods. No one knows the danger of these long term effects.

Although, in theory resistant strains of GMO foods would enhance crop yields, lower insect damage, etc, some evidence shows possible eradication of helpful insects such as bees.

The oligarchy of big corporate interests such as Monsanto are controlling the agencies such as the USDA and FDA to force these technologies on the people without regard to the potential harmful effects and the years of testing needed to verify their safety and/or efficacy.

At the same time, unconstitutional bills and laws are being passed to restrict the growing of organic foods by small farmers and individuals. These bills are instigated by the same special interests that are backing the GMO foods.

This double edged sword to force us away from the proven efficacy of organic foods to benefit the big corporate interests behind the GMO foods without regard of the people or ecology is the modus operandi of the insane “unearned profits” of the corporate interests enforced by the power of government that is supposed to be constitutionally bound to protect the rights, freedoms and life of individuals.
